While each session is distinctly unique based on your specific needs, every client begins with an initial intake session where I aim to learn more about your past experiences. From there, each subsequent session will evolve based on what feels present and ready to be explored. 

My intention is to bring you back into the present moment, and if/when you feel safe to do so, into the body. When we are able to tap into the now and into the physical sensations that arise from a particular emotion, we are able to tiptoe our way to better understand our inner guide.

Using research-backed psychotherapy approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing, and mindfulness as the “ingredients” available to us, we will co-create each session together.

FAQ’s

  • I am in partnership with a platform called Headway, and through them, I am credentialed with major insurance companies (BCBS, UBH, Aetna, and Cigna). If I am not on the panel with your insurance company, you can access a superbill via the Headway portal and submit that to your insurance to see if you can get reimbursed.

  • We’ll first schedule a 15-minute free virtual consultation. This is for us to briefly get to know one another and for you to decide if you’d like to move forward with an initial session. After the initial session, we’ll establish a consistent rhythm so that we can meet with regularity.

  • Self-care (mine and yours!) is vitally important to me. And sometimes, the most loving self-care looks like healthy boundaries. Because of this, I do not communicate anything of clinical nature with my clients outside of our scheduled sessions. During session, I am with you 100%. However, I, too, need to recharge.
